You can edit, color correct, finish, and deliver all from one system. I have watched a few videos on Youtube where people are using it with DR16, it does work but some of the keys do not function. I am also confused about the lack of cable in the box. There is a space for it, but nothing there!!! I watched a french buyer's video of unboxing and there was a cable in that pack - seems strange - at first I just though it had been missed out of the box, but this does not seem to be the case, looking at some other videos of unboxing. I will probably download the 17 beta onto a different computer as I do not want to risk getting an overwrite on my 'performing well' 16. According to Blackmagic Design, the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor will result in dramatically faster editing. It is just a shame there is not a manual on the Blackmagic website for the keyboard without having to download the beta of 17 just to get it. The keyboard has a control for every edit function and can do multiple tasks simultaneously, which will allow editors to work quickly. With a mouse, editors have to click each function to start utilizing it. DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor is available immediately from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for US295. If anyone has managed to find a manual somewhere, please let me know. ![]() Same, I saw the same video and was confused as he had an usb-c to usb-c cable and my box also had none.Īnother thing which confused me and may only be on the bigger keyboard is the fact that the wheel seems to have a middle point in the center which clicks and seems to lock when you go far enough to the left or the right.
